Hi, my name is Jerry Murphy and I am a certified public accountant and I have been practicing here, in Fort Bragg, California, since 1976. Fort Bragg is located in Northern California, along the Pacific coast of California. Here are some pictures I have taken to show you some of the area where my wife and I raised our family and live. You may notice that the ocean is a big influence on us here.

The logo in the upper left-hand corner is a compass and it is selected to symbolize the essence of the service that I try to provide my clients: direction.

In my practice I try to deliver a more personalized service to small businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals. I try to get to know my clients and their businesses so that the advice that I give to them is not simply a generic answer to their questions but one that is tailored to who they are and where they are going. That is, like a compass, I try to show clients the way to their destinations!

I provide tax compliance and consulting services to clients as well as accounting and auditing services as needed. I am also a Certified QuickBooks Professional advisor and can help clients who are trying to provide their own bookkeeping but need some assistance with year-end closings and unusual transactions.
